ABOUT ABOUT

Join Peridance Contemporary Dance Company for its major NYC Season this May!

The Company returns to the NYC stage this Spring with its first major season since 2006, presenting a diverse repertory that includes the debut of three new works created especially for this season by Artistic Director Igal Perry, and NYC-based guest choreographers Kristin Sudeikis and Sidra Bell. In addition to Igal's new work, which will involve a quartet of musicians moving on stage with the dancers to the music of Henryk Górecki, the Company will present his "profoundly memorable" El Amor Brujo, music by Manuel de Falla, which premiered in collaboration with PostClassical Ensemble to sold-out audiences in Washington, DC. PostClassical Ensemble's Angel Gil-Ordóñez conducts a live orchestra led by Flamenco singer Marija Temo. Joining the Company on stage for the opening weekend is incomparable guest star Jose Manuel Carreño, former principal dancer at American Ballet Theater!
