Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Artistic Director Igal Perry, is thrilled to take the stage this January with a Preview Performance! Join us for this amazing one-night-only preview of what's to come in the Company's major NYC Season this May.
The Preview Performance will include the sumptuous Spanish flavored "El Amor Brujo". It will also include an excerpt of Perry's "Constructs for 4," a technical accomplishment originally choreographed for the world-renowned Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and the first showing of a new work by popular NYC-based contemporary jazz choreographer, Kristin Sudeikis. The Company will also be joined by the Peridance Youth Ensemble performing a new work by Gregory Dolbashian.
Peridance Contemporary Dance Company recently returned from Washington DC following a series of successful and sold-out performances of "El Amor Brujo," in collaboration with PostClassical Ensemble and the renowned Spanish cantaora Esperanza Fernandez. The Company also led a cast of over 60 dancers in "The Nutcracker: a Contemporary Look" a production conceived and choreographed by Igal Perry.
